For everyone going to Trolltunga there is a ne parking lot at the top of the mountain that is available since the end of august. So we started our trip at the top. It makes the beginning and the end of the hike much easier. You should be early at the parking the lot, because the is only enough space for about 40 cars.
We followed our directions, and drove from the southeast to the southwest corner of the island. We passed through the villages of Laborie and Choiseul, then turned towards Gros Piton, which appeared absolutely gigantic at this point. The road became rougher and more narrow, and it lead us through other small villages with stunning views of the Caribbean Sea and the majestic mountain.
Before you go rock climbing, make sure you have all the proper equipment and that you are avalanche aware. Some routes get closed in March and April, because of the Raptors that nest along the walls of the mountains. 041b061a72
