Payette Lake, Ponderosa State Park, and Brundage Mountain are located in McCall. McCall is an all-season tourist destination for outdoor recreation. The resort town is known for its Winter Carnival, extended winters, summer lake life, and one of the highest average snowfalls in the state. We have only been in the summer, but Josh and the boys want to go in the winter to ski!

Located on the lake, the Castle boasts 6 bedrooms. The primary bedroom features an en-suite bath and fireplace. The Castle also features a large modern kitchen, dining room, formal living room with a fireplace, first floor bathroom with a washer and dryer, three entertaining areas, and a family room leading outside to the lower deck and lake.
We are so fortunate that Derby offers an incredible range of activities in addition to mountain biking. This means we often have non-riding guests who join their avid mountain biking partner on our Experience.
Over the next few miles, the trail takes you along the graceful curves of the shoreline. As you weave along the waterfront, unobstructed views of the lake greet you like some too-beautiful scene from a painting. Boats bob up and down gently in the Tonka Bay Marina as the fireworks of fall colors burst joyfully all around.
The Family and I just finished our 5 hour Patio Boat rental and could not be more pleased with our renting experience. the staff was very professional and polite. very nice to talk with and the boat was awesome. had a BLAST on the lake. FishingLaurel Lake, Beaver Pond, and the Russell Fork River offer a variety of fishing experiences, and the promise of a good catch. Laurel Lake, a twelve-acre man-made lake, and our two-acre Beaver Pond are stocked with bluegill and bass. The Russell Fork River is stocked with Rainbow Trout by Virginia Game and Inland Fisheries officials. A fishing License is required, and is available for purchase at the Park Visitor Center.
The tranquil lake and the lush green around it is the home to several species of birds, both local and foreign. Even a casual look around the villa is bound to unearth some of these fine-feathered friends. They are literally nearly everywhere during the day, so you can take a walk around the property, or take a trip to the other side of the river, or maybe a boat ride to the larger bodies of water, and you are basically guaranteed to find something!
