Kryso has released a very handy set of tools for Dreamcast games. It's basically an application that act as an extension for the Chankast emulator that will list all the hidden characters in the roms of all SEGA games. Example: in Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact (Giant Attack), if you enable any of the following codes in the codec menu, you'll get a MvC2 mode with increased moves : LDB = Lekd De Spudu LDB AS = Lekd De Spudu AS LDB R = Lekd De Spudu R LDB W = Lekd De Spudu W LDB A = Lekd De Spudu A LDB B = Lekd De Spudu B LDB F = Lekd De Spudu F LDB J = Lekd De Spudu J LDB H = Lekd De Spudu H LDB K = Lekd De Spudu K
Learn the secrets of a powerful VGM (Visual Giga Mode) like dreamcast games that will unlock all the hidden information when you have a dreamcast. -You can use this tool with the chankast emulator or on a real dreamcast without an emulator. -In the chankast emulator version, you can enable this mode in the options from the main menu of chankast. -To load the game, just put the optical disc in the drive and open Giga mode (Highlight that option on the main menu of dreamcast). -To exit Giga mode just press the reset button, no need to close the game, if you do, you will lose all that information (This is a feature). -You can disable Giga mode in the chankast menu option, but if you delete a game and you need to load it again, this mode will be there. -Krysos team has tested this option on the Dreamcast, and it will work. -Developed by Kryso.
Here is the Magnesium version of chankast, which is the complete version of chankast. It has many great features including the use of the VGM functionality.
